Green nod to JP plant in HP quashed; Rs 100-cr fine imposed

                                   The decision and judgement announced by the " Green Bench" of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh is not only appreciable but also it is a LAND MARK judgement in the history of this High Court. The environmental clearance obtained by the Jai Prakash Associates Ltd. by fraudlent acts for the setting up the Thermal Plan is unfortunate and it is cheating with the people of the State and with the State Government and its officers. The Hon'ble High Court imposed the penalty of Rs.100 crores and quashing of the environmental clearance is a Historical Land Mark Judgement. It will also an exemple to other companies coming to the state for setting up such Big Industries by unfair means and they should also be careful.

                                     Similarly , the State Government Machinary , Polticians and bureaucrats who are involved in this deal should also be identified and they should be prosecuted for such fraud with the people of the State in Himachal Pradesh.  The courage and action of the The Judges / Bench of the High Court is appreciable to save the effected people of the State.
